  Tropical Storm Irma begins as a low-pressure system in the eastern Atlantic with winds of 48 mph
• August/31/2017
  1,845 miles east of the Leeward Islands, Irma intensified into a hurricane, with winds up to 98 mph.
• September/01/2017 through September/04/2017
  Hurricane Irma’s strength fluctuates as it crosses Atlantic, with 110 mph winds growing by the end of this passage to 145 mph. Hurricane warnings are issued for the U.S. Virgin Islands and Puerto Rico.
• September/05/2017 7:45AM
  Hurricane Irma has become an extremely dangerous Category 5 storm with maximum winds of 175 mph and stronger gusts.
• September/06/2017 2AM
  Hurricane Irma’s eyewall passes over Barbuda.
• September/06/2017 by 4AM
  Hurricane Irma’s eyewall passes over St Barts and St. Martin, and the strong northern eyewall pounds Anguilla.
• September/06/2017 – 2PM
  The eye of Hurricane Irma passes over the northernmost Virgin Islands, then just north of Puerto Rico moving at 16 mph as a Category 5 storm with 185 mph winds.
• September/07/2017
  Irma passes north of the Dominican Republic, heading toward the Turks and Caicos Islands.
  By 8PM Hurricane Irma rocks the Turks and Caicos Islands with sustained winds of 175 mph.
• September/08/2017 – 8PM
  Irma’s southwestern eyewall moves over the north coast of Cuba. By 11pm Hurricane Irma makes landfall on Cuba’s Camaguey archipelago as a Category 5 hurricane with sustained winds of 160 mph.
• September/10/2017 – 9:10AM
  Hurricane Irma makes landfall again @ Cudjoe Key in the lower Florida Keys as a Category 4 storm with 130 mph sustained winds.
  The storm continued on it’s path north-by-northwest at 8 mph.
• September/10/2017 – 2PM
  Irma continued on it’s path north-by-northwest at 8 mph with 120 mph winds.
  A storm surge of 10 to 15 feet of water was forecast.
• September/10/2017 – 3:35PM
  Irma makes landfall again on Marco Island Florida.
