BONITO

Yes, great sunset views, but only for one person at the table. I still find it odd that a restaurant with the best view in town designed seating where patrons have their backs to the harbor.

Great sunset views.

Most patrons aren't eating yet at the sunset hour. When I was there, several folks were cozily lounging (picture: sitting somewhat sideways) on the banquet facing the sunset. Didn't seem to be a deterrent.

The gentlemen sit with their backs to the view as they are looking at the most beautiful sight on the island -- the ladies.

The view of the harbor is blocked at all times, not just sunset, and the evening view of the harbor is equally stunning. Not a deterrent, but not a layout that seems well thought-out...

On the Rocks has a beautiful layout where the rail is open and two tops are seated perpendicular to each other so everybody gets a view.

On The Rocks is the only restaurant in my life that made my eyes roll up in my head. Sensory overload.

At Bonito on Jan. 8th...excellent...foie gras starter, their signature crispy pork entree, and great dessert...server was Virginia...very knowledgeable..made it easy. Two thumbs up.
