Boone's Farm!!! True story: At Woodstock, we'd arrived a few days early in a converted 44-passenger school bus and were directed over to what they thought would be an orderly distribution of attendees (tent campers over here, day trippers over there, RV-types over yonder...). It turned out that being in the RV-type area, a couple of hundred yards from the main stage area and through some woods, was the best thing that could have happened. We had a great refuge and could drop in and out of the ummmm..... craziness as we wished.…that and a jar of Skippy, loaf of Wonderbread, and some Boones Farm to wash it down and you are all set.
Anyway..... at the time of the 20th anniversary of Woodstock we returned. Not only did we find the place where we'd parked, but at the edge of the woods we found the remains of the campfire we'd used, together with maybe a half dozen of our empty Boone's Farm and Ripple bottles!
Great memory!
