Pool Escapes?

I've found I'm allergic to sargassum - the little almost invisible fronds in the water even when it seems clear - as well as whiffs from the stuff on the shore. My 30 years of snorkeling here appear to be over and even swimming is an issue. At least in April. There's no pool where I stay. What are the best priced day-poolside options? Jo.

Why not lunch and pool hop? Christopher, Cheval Blanc, Langouste, Pearl Beach, Le Toiny come to mind.

amy is correct, I know that christopher, cheval blanc indeed allow you to swim if you eat there also. I have a pic of the le barthelemy pool which is my favorite

We always swim in the pool with family at Le Toiny Beach Club. Nice Pool and Changing Rooms. Best of all worlds.

These things have a way of creeping their way into our lives. I saw the Eagles at the Sphere last year and Joe Walsh said “It was more fun being twenty in the Seventies than seventy in the Twenties so I guess it happens to everybody.

We just did a Day Pass last week with friends at Christopher - - it was really nice! You get use of the loungers all day, a two course lunch (you choose either a starter and entrée or entrée and dessert) and a welcome cocktail for 95€ per person. You can come to the pool any time after 10am and stay as long as you like. It is a great deal!

Saw the Eagles in Shanghai maybe 15 years ago - it was glorious w a packed huge auditorium of Chinese singing every word to every song. Thanks for the memory.

I love a villa pool. There have been times when I’ve rented a beachfront villa and not dipped a toe in the sea for 3-4 days. There have also been times when I’ve swum in the sea under the moonlight at 10PM.

Moi aussi, Kevin! As years pass, however, a 10 PM swim is best in the pool at CEC — usually with a mix of Credence Clearwater, Jimmy Buffett, & Ella Fitzgerald. I sleep happily!

CEC pool is super chic and private! I haven't stayed in any villas but if I did, I would want to swim in that pool
