I don't know, maybe it's some OTHER Lorient beach (OK, I'll drop the apostrophe!). For us, Lorient has always been 1) a quiet beach with generally tiny waves; 2) a place to go where almost everyone there is local; 3) a beach with no stuffiness or glitz and glam; 4) a beach where, for much of the day, my wife (and her very Irish skin) can find a spot to relax in the shade of a tree; a place where I can gaze into the vastness of the ocean and have little fishing boats and such (and no megayachts) as part of my environment. Has it changed?
