How Much Is That Cheeseburger Pommes Frites?

Kimberly.... I have been eating in Creperie all the way back to the beginning when Serge, who now owns that foo foo shoe store Human Steps, owned it....have never been disappointed with anything I ve ever eaten in there.....and I ve eaten breakfast lunch and dinner there..along with a ton of late night snacks

We were both commenting "why don't we come here more"? Varied menu etc. Chicken/bacon panini with basil pesto and frites for 9 Euro. It has taken a number of years for us to figure out that it is cheaper for us to go out here (to some places) than it is to cook for 2 people. We cook everything from scratch as I know you do and that can be expensive to sustain down here especially with fruits and vegetables. I like all sort of veggies etc. in my salad (lardons, bleu cheese too:) By the time you buy everything you can be into a salad (home made dressing of course) for over 30 Euro easy. That's why we have been embracing the plat d jour concept. We tend to splurge (overpay for ok food at a foo foo place) once a week and that works out ok for us. We also like to eat at the bar of a place. Great way to get the inside scoop. kr

I love Creperie and we go there for lunch at least twice per trip.

As for my irresistible indulgences? Good PIZZA and CHAMPAGNE!

Best burger in NYC IMHO, at Joe Allen's... I avoid them in St Barth's most of the time..

Hamburger With French Fries, 13.50 / cheese or bacon 1.00

The Carls Jr $6.00 burger is what my stent is named after...we just call it...Carl

This puppy was to die for good....which I almost did

Mike, where is Chez Yvon?

On our first trip to St Barth in 1988 we stayed at Arc en Ciel in Anse des Lezards and Chez Yvon was our go-to place for take-out when we just didn't feel like venturing further. And that happened more times than I'm able to count. We've always had a soft spot for that place!

And I wasn't babysitting, it was a lesbian wedding. Maybe I did babysit once, now that I think about it.

Eve..one last minute blow off was a lesbian wedding.......and one last minute blow off was babysitting...absolutely positively

The lesbian wedding was the daughter of Jim's oldest friend, and the babysitting was for his grandchildren. It was a no option situation.
Trust me. I apologize profusely. I'll buy you a Ti Punch in apology.
