Mamo has an attractive, seductive ambiance that feels very Italo-Côte d'Azur.how does it compare to Isola?
Yeah, kind of....When I'm on a longer trip to SB, I will hit up Isola. Not on shorter trips - I eat at Italian restaurants in NYC more than anything, and I love the novelty of Saint Barth's local specialties and flavors that aren't available at home. I used to really love Isola - it was always on my rotation, not as much my last visit. I'm curious about Mamo, but we'll see.... Nobody goes hungry on Saint Barth. Some will ignore both, as "we don't go to Saint-Barth to eat Italian".
Whatever![]()
Price comparison? Similar? One higher than the other?Mamo has an attractive, seductive ambiance that feels very Italo-Côte d'Azur.
L'Isola has a rich clubby atmosphere and decor.
Cusine at both is very good to excellent.
We like Mamo but we adore L'Isola and consider its cuisine to be on a higher level.
Both have their admirers and detractors.
Some will ignore both, as "we don't go to Saint-Barth to eat Italian".

Similar pricing but I think L’Isola a bit higher ???Price comparison? Similar? One higher than the other?
