TREASURED ISLAND by Michael Gross

Last night I got into the early family and neighbors land disputes.

As the old Bing Crosby hit song goes FEUDIN’ A FUSSIN’ and A FIGHTIN….sometimes it gets to be exciting’

My surprise Fact of the night, wondrful owner ANNIE from Baie Ange and Langouste is the sister of late Guy Turbe

Just read this limerick:

"This mysterious isle in the trades /Slips the tress and the tongue from their braids / for with boissons and croissants / then poissons and boissons / it's hard to tell life from charades."

The more things change...??

Villa owners see opportunity in renting their properties and welcome SIBARTH and WIMCO as the agencies to help their market grow. A new approach for those who seek island escapes.

I did not know this, either!

Wait until you get to the fussin' fightin' and feudin' between SiBarth and Wimco! I did not know that the two companies were each run by in-laws. Makes Thanksgiving a little awkward.

Please don’t forget my mantra . . . “There always are at least two sides to every story.”

I'm starting to feel like Russell Crowe's character in "a beautiful mind". I might have to clear out the garage so I can sort all this out!

Carib water sports??

Oui. We always stayed in various hotels on the island since our honeymoon in 1987. Unfortunately hurricanes destroyed Two of our favorites…FiLao, Emaraud Plage. We now stay in a villa in Marigot, thanks Dennis, and rent chairs from Luca where we sit and watch the world go by. Congrats on the success of your latest novel. I loved the prologue where you quoted Marius with “we were poor, but lived in Paradise.” Cheryl & I still travel to our favorite island for the paradise aspect not the hype. We dined at Eddy’s last night, first night, and he was at the restaurant. The first time we had seen him in years. We started talking and it was like we had just seen each other last week. Family. He is spending his time conquering weeds at home. Apologies for missing your book signing the other week in NYC. It would have been fun to meet you. All my best.
