I was kinda surprised, after being all over, to find Turkish toilets in Paris in the 80s and bum-wiping with bare hands. Then I travelled even further around the globe. Ugghhh. But,the locals live their life their way. D'accord. Ya go where ya wanna go. Don't put up with want ya don't want to. Your choice.
I worry more about ISIS types, people that don't get the health and mental health treatment that should be available, revenge-government policies (tax and blame YOU for everything), unsafe food, greed-driven rules/regulations, self-righteous posturing by all sides (left & right) - it's sad. Once upon a time smoking was a norm. Those same smoking idiots sent us to the moon, invented computers, and made us the "superpower," whatever that means. IMHO, I try to put up with exhaust and appreciate what is around me.

"Non sequi"? No. No! I ordered a Dos Equis, dammit!
Can't they get anything right on this island? Friggin smoke in the restos. No decent french fries. Frozen fish sticks srved as fresh fish. Nekkid women on beaches. Hooligans on mopeds in the town square at night. No dress codes. And then someone points me to some milieu that I don't get. Nuttins been right ever since we got off the cruise boat.
Actually, I can't complain. SBH is just fine. And the air is much cleaner than in Beijing. I do believe I will be back, despite the inconveniences.
