Smoking and an informal SBH/AXA comparison

Le Piment must be a favorite here.
I went there the other night, seems like 90% of the customers were smoking.
Yes, I'd go back. :happytomad:.

When Andy was still smoking you could find him over there on "break". Matthew asked him to stop one afternoon and that was his last cig. Better than any patch the son's request to have the father in his life as long as possible.

That's what worked for me too. My boys asked me to quit so that they would have a place to go to on Mother's day for a long long time. Thank heaven for little boys-I did it 42 years ago

Ah- wondered when your anti-bank agenda would show.

Huh? I have some great friends that are bankers. Why would I diss them? No way.

One of them introduced me to SBH all those years ago. Spent years in their neighborhood. Smoked a lot of 'gars with 'em. Saved them some bank bacon a few times. But... they don't always listen. I tried. Multi-billions in fines paid and now...

The repeal of many consumer protections since the 80s made finance a shady place to be. IMHO.

And yes...

it is a cultural problem... French born and raised here and smoking was done by a lot of family members and never looked down upon... I hate the smell of smoke and complain to my fellow compatriots but for the resto owner their regulars who smoke are more important than the tourists who pass through...

SBH is foolish to allow smoking everywhere on the island. Many times, sitting outside looking at the ocean, we would be enveloped in a cloud of cigar or cigarette smoke. It just is not right to force us non smokers to breathe other people's dirty air when we come to SBH for the opposite. Bruno- Please enforce your laws and make SBH the paradise it can be!
