Why is the image a thumbnail? This is extremely annoying.

You've raised a question that I too had - is this strictly a highest of high season venue, or a venue that intends to operate for the long run. I have similar question about Carole's Tam Garden venue at the former Le Tamarin.

For me, for the Voile Rouge and Tam Garden venues, I expect to spend as much time there as I currently spend at Nikki Beach and Yach Club. Fortunately for all of the aforementioned venues, I'm not in their preferred client base.

As reported by JetSetReport, FWIW, it seems to be a three year commitment???? On verra...

IIRC, 3-years is the initial term of a typical commercial lease in France. Leases are for 9 years, with tenant-only breakpoints at 3, 6, and 9 years,

One of the things I like about vacationing in Europe is the concept of full service beach club. I don't mind paying a few bucks for the chair when in return I get extremely attentive beach service with drinks, lunch, dessert, more drinks, music, etc. all right on the sand. I realize that places like this and like Nikki Beach aren't everyone's style (The glitterati and wannabes don't bother me, they are amusing to watch in their stupidity), but they offer a product that you just can't get anywhere in the States. I've tried more than a few high end hotels in the US that have "beach service" and it's always some uninterested teenager who comes around once every three hours instead of the French attitude of treating waiting on diners as a craft.

So for me, this is a welcome addition to SBH. Some days I like to hike to a deserted part of Saline with a cooler of wine and cheese, and some days it's nice to have a good lunch (i.e not a hot dog) right at my chair. Both of these experiences are something you just don't find much of stateside.
