So, after writing a second time, I did hear back from the company today. They told me that they "work with" Wimco, Si Barth, My Villa and Ici et La, which is how they are allowed to list villas without having a local contract in place. In other words, they are not a "local" company but instead a third party aggregator/listing agent like Fantasia Villas or One Fine Stay, etc. Third party listing agents do not need a direct contract with villa owner, as they are acting as an arm of the villa rental companies they work with. When they "sell" a week, the local company they contract with pays them a commission and takes over with boots on the ground from there.
The odd thing is that they are marketing themselves as local by using a local address (which is actually the address of a DOM company on island, which is basically a company that rents out local addresses in order to have a st barth address for whatever reason.) although the phone number is 917 NYC number. They also tout a "free" private chef and butler even though the villa rates are the same as they are everywhere else. The details are vague. The business does have a French SIREN/SIRET registration number since January 2023 by a single owner, Paulo Agelatos for the company LUXURY EXPERIENCE. The website was registered in July of 2025. When I replied to their email to ask if they have any actual “local” employees on SBH, they did not answer me. They also have no social media that I can find, anyway...
All in all, they do have the proper registrations in order, but I find it odd and a little fishy that they are marketing themselves as a local agency, when they, in fact, are not. In my experience, I would stick with companies you know are actually local and save yourself some potential headaches later.
