Fresh Fish/Outdoor Dining

Wrong, Sandy....any recipe I attempt starts with opening a bottle of wine! We usually go through one while I cook and one for the meal..makes my cooking more platable!

Miker, your recipe sounds great. With all of this talk.....I am now hungry as well! Good thing we are going out for a nice dinner tonight for Larry's birthday.....or I might have to cook!!!!! The only thing I am wondering is this. Who orders the "honkin big loaf' from Petite Columbe bakery. Lets hope you let Wendi handle that one!!! Happy cooking!

Cheri

Dennis....couldnt agree with you more... on St Barts and at home for that matter, one bottle of wine is opened and consumed during the prep work for the meal.....then another for the meal itself.....wouldnt have it any other way

Cheri..tell Larry I said Happy B Day...have a great dinner.
and....Wendi gets the bread.....LOL

Sandy...I'll offer you the same deal I offered Wendi ten years ago and we still have it today......you clean up and do dishes and I'll cook every night....:)

Sandy,

I still have a memory of my Dad calling in our order for cheesesteaks on Friday nights. My brother and I would walk up 68th st, hang a left on Woodland Ave. and pick up the steaks from a place I can't remember the name of. I do remember walking home with my nose in the brown papeer bag, inhaling that wonderful aroma of steak, cheese, onion and grease.

Thank you everyone for your comments!

FYI: the portion of this thread that I was able to separate re: cheese steak has been moved to the Everything Else Forum (although there was an "effort" to somehow relate it to SBH - :)) You can find the new thread here: Cheesesteak Talk --Kara
