Sandy... oh man...you re making me hungry again and I just had lunch....you take that big ol soft pretzel and break it in half and half gets hot spicy brown mustard spread on it...and half gets nutella....hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
heres a different outdoor fish eating suggestion that will probably go over like a fart in church to most, because it involves cooking it yourself...but anyway..for those few who actually enjoy cooking in St Barts......I present
* get a fresh mahi mahi from the guy who sells them in front of Match and Select every Thursday....insist on a loin piece
* get some fresh dill, tarragon ,oregano, rosemary and basil ( all or a few - depending on what you like and/or whats available) from Match.. ( yes they have it )....and capers too
* bring it all home...make up a lemon/butter/garlic/white wine sauce....baste it on the fish.....salt and pepper to taste...lay the fish on heavy duty tin foil..throw the fresh herbs and capers both on top and at the bottom of the fish, and close it up tight...real tight....throw it on a hot hot hot grill...wait until steam is coming out of the foil...then take it off - its done....most people overcook fish...dont be one of them
* serve it with some fresh sauteed Guadolupe Zuccini with sweet onions and either a yellow or red pepper ( in extra virgin Olive Oil and garlic) and a nice cold lentil and tomato salad or a chantral mushroom rissoto, and a big honkin loaf of a multigrain rustic bread from Petit Colombe
* Pouilly Fume is the wine
* Chocoloate Cream Puffs from Petit Colombe, along with Coffee and Bailys, is the desert
Bon Appetit!!!
