A longtime in coming

In thinking about it further I think he was from NY not Chicago and I don’t know if I ever knew his profession.
Nick The Dog is from New York, birthed as Vincent P**k, owns a landscape business working with estates of billionaires. Spent several high seasons cavorting with Nick and his wife Nancy back in the day. Nick was very good friends with Andy Hall.

Thank you. I had met up with another Nick who followed this forum. The Chicago guy was a foodie and really enjoyed the fine dining while on island. He was here with the dental group that used to have annual meetings.

After a span of ten years my wife and I are returning to the island to celebrate our 40th. Even though it’s been 10 years it will also be our tenth trip so we are not unfamiliar with the island. That leads me to my main question: what are the main changes we need to be alert to that have occurred since 2016?
Any major/significant changes to roads, restaurants or protocols, acceptable practices etc? Any information and/or guidance is greatly appreciated.
On a different note I have been a member of this forum since it was run by the woman and her husband who gave it up to open a restaurant years ago. I don’t remember their names but some of you will. My forum name was TomtheCat and if any mods read this, I would like to get it back and my original membership date if that is possible.
Again I appreciate any and all assistance
Things are busier, more expensive, and less local - - but, it is still a special place with great people, beaches and food.
