Apologies for posting another business-oriented question--I'm sure you're arriving to the island to unwind from Business!
I wanted to ask however if anyone is aware of the 5 year tax rule. Whereby having a company registered in St Barths for 5 years is qualified as being a zero tax company (first 5 years being taxed a French company). Moreover, I believe if one were to purchase a company already in existence for at least 5 years that the new company would benefit from the zero tax policy.
How does one obtain residency (or rather, obtain the right to live long enough 'to' obtain residency)?
Thanks!
