For Forum members who knew “Andy’s Hideaway,” & others who know it by reputation, I’m making note of Neil Diamond’s 85th birthday this week. So many raucous renditions of his legendary song, with Andy (“the Big Guy”) leading us, night after night . . . ‘til he couldn’t do it anymore.

That Andy Hall coming over to welcome you to the Hideaway a ritual I never tired of lo those many years we visited SBH. I sure missed that big lug after he departed St Barth.

First meal on our first visit in 2014 was at Hideaway. Andy came over and chatted with us for a bit. We were sad to hear that he left the island before we returned in 2015. So glad we had a chance to meet him!
