An old but still funny story. We meet 60 year old guy loses his farm after he gives up his career as a teacher, gets divorced and takes to the road to visit all the states. He travels with a map puzzle board in his car and tosses out the states as he drives through them. Funny, moving, and well done. Someone called it the Catcher in the Rye for Middle Agers.

Really a fun read.
