Ours is 17 morne du pi... I have no idea what that means. Someone told me "pi" is creole but it seems it can mean many things. I hope it means something cool, I don't want to live on pee street! lol

Last week was Pi day. We went with Pie Instead of Pi, and had Blueberry Pie with some really great Vanilla ice cream.

Today, I’m making Blue Ice Cream for the 5-year-old whose world revolves around Chase. ( IYKYK). No Pi, no Pie, , just riffing on Ice Cream now.

Then getting a brick of vanilla ice cream and setting out my favorite after dinner dessert for my 3 brothers, my Dad and us, the bakers!

It is pronounced "pee" and is patois for puit or well ... the neighborhood had wells with brackish water the women would get and walk home i jugs in their heads - a piece fabric was wound around to form a base to help hold the jug in place - the water was boiled for use...

the issue with this is that there are no street signs outside of Gustavia so the addresses don't help much - dropping a pin seems to be the preferred method...
