Zen Villa Pointe Milou

Sawdustbay

SBH Insider
I have tried to do a search however the search comes back that the word Zen is too short and will not search, so.... I am hoping for some insight as to whether there would be a lot of noise mid - end of February fr4om Le Ti which is basically two properties and a roadway away. We have been to and enjoyed Le Ti but we are not ones to stay past midnight. It appears they are open until 4am. Any other info that can be shared regarding this villa would be appreciated. Thank you!

Le Ti is reportedly under new management and what it becomes no one knows. As to the villa, there are so many villas that are underreported on the Forum. If you are worried I suggest you look at another area. Good luck!

I used an alternate means to search the forums, using the keywords sbhonline.com and zen to do a Google search. I found a lot of references to the word zen, but none to the villa.

Ok I did not realize it is under new management I did a search and they indicate a re-open November and hours open until 4am. So I think that answers my immediate question. Thank you all for the input.

Thanks Kevin - we are still thinking about it, I have asked the Villa specialist what are the red roofed buildings almost directly across and beside the Le Ti - they look like commercial buildings as well. Maybe just warehouse space.

We stayed in Zen pre-covid, and yes, we did hear le Ti at night. The bedrooms are both on the le Ti side of the house. Take ear plugs and you will be fine. Overall, the villa is fabulous, with a great pool, a cabana for pool side dining and a great Pt Milou view of the airport landings, and a good kitchen and dining room. It is all open air, very breezy and few bugs. The bedrooms are equal, enclosed with nice bathrooms. steep driveway and a walled in garden with a driveway gate.

Thank you for the info. We ended up renting it. Selection is a bit low for just two people in mid Feb so I think it will be fine. Thanks for the heads up on the earplugs lol. Or maybe we will just have to party a few nights!!

We have rented ZEN 3 or 4 times over the last 15 years, love the Villa but last time was just before covid the noise from Ti was unbearable and went until 3AM..... Not sure if new management will be different. Also the bugs were bad that year and I got Zika so not great memories. haha.... we love that area - can't beat the sunsets, we rented the villa next door on the left forget the name but loved that villa and go figure the people at ZEN that week (owners maybe?) decided to have a RIPPA party that went until 4AM with a DJ and at least 50 people. didn't sleep much that night.... but still love Pt Milou ....

2019 (maybe 2018)? I think I got it as well. Back home and my muscles and joints were sore for a week or so, among other symptoms. Given the cost, my doctor advised against testing since I wasn't pregnant.

Yes it sucked- I got tested since just back and suspected Zika - was positive-Dr was very excited his only positive case haha- was in bed for couple days. eyes were so bloodshot was crazy and rash all over. but thankfully I also was not pregnant. haha. but at time my daughter in law was pregnant and she wouldn't let us visit for a while
