Your experiences at La Cabane (Cheval Blanc)

I wanted to hear others' experiences at La Cabane. I recall someone had a bad experience as they were asked to leave as the manager needed the table.

I also can't figure out if they serve food all day. On line I could only get a 12:30 reservation but I wanted to eat lunch later (2pm?)

I really like their previous restaurant - are they using that same area?

I had a delightful lunch there last week, great view, very good food. La Cabane is actually located where the old Taiwana restaurant was located - not where the Isle de France restaurant was. That is now called La Case.

I've eaten there many times, and always had a good experience. It is always better to call if you have specific needs rather than try to book a table online, they are always willing to help out over the phone. I find it better to get a table a little farther back off the beach, sometimes if it's windy, your table can get blasted.

Love their famous Isle de France Club Sandwich, and they have great frites.

We had a really nice long lunch there two weeks ago. Everyone was so nice. Service and food was excellent, as well as a fashion show. Spent the rest of the afternoon on the beach. Would also recommend lunch at Toiny Beach Club, also excellent food, service, and a swim in the pool.

At CB do they serve lunch at the old restaurant? My understanding is that it's dinner only (and brunch on Sunday).

I'm puzzled that they don't use that space for lunch.

Went to La Cabane but it wasn't the same as the old location to eat. My husband was shocked Dover Sole was 78 Euro.
