Yankee in Washington, DC

Bill and I are off on our first trip to the capital, with an overnight at Mandarin Oriental....anyone stay there before?
And although it will be really great to see some of the famous sites.......the main attraction for our one night there on Friday, will be the Yankee-Nationals game.
Hey; I married a Yankees fan for a reason......

Yes, Tim....have driven through; to NC....but it will be cool to see the monuments, reflecting pool, etc !
So close, but so far I guess.......

Linda ----enjoy your brief stay---and you have chosen an excellent hotel! If you have time to indulge yourselves food-wise, the restaurant is excellent as well--- and there is a tasting menu....What fun! We haven't made it to the new stadium to see the Nats yet :blush:
