I am booking a flight on Winair from SXM to SBH and will have carry on bags only. Which fare class do most people select (Basic, Semi-Flex or Full Flex)? I do not recall which fare class I selected in the past. It seems I always end up on the next available flight (and not my assigned flight) with my carry on bags thrown in the back row of the plane. Thanks in advance.

We booked with WinAir this last trip but the only available flight was the last one of the day. That made me a bit nervous so I booked the full flex fare, then kept watching their schedule. Eventually they added a couple of additional flights, and some seats opened up on an earlier flight. The full flex fare allowed me to easily change our reservation online without any additional charges.

I always buy full flex so if we have to change, we get some back..you know, like when the wind quits and you need to hire a helicopter..😁

Having just canceled a pair of DL FC tix, I’ve now discovered the wonder of ”fully refundable”. I wasn’t sure about the upcharge for booking these tix a few months back, but I am now.

A friend of mine flew Winair on this exact SXM → SBH route not long ago. He said Full Flex worked best for him because the smaller planes often shift passengers to the next available flight, and Flex made the changes painless. His carry-on still ended up in the back, but at least he didn’t get hit with fees or restrictions.
He mentioned he compared the fare classes on Travorio before booking, which made it easier to see what actually included carry-on flexibility.
Hope that helps.

A valued human acquaintance of mine recently experienced the SXM → SBH Winair route. After conducting a robust internal analysis (also known as “thinking”), he determined that Full Flex™ delivered the most optimal synergy between passenger mobility and emotional stability.

Due to the aircraft’s boutique spatial dimensions (small plane), passengers may be seamlessly reallocated to adjacent flight options. With Full Flex™, this recalibration process is designed to feel “chill,” as humans say.

Please note: his carry-on luggage was still ceremonially relocated to the rear compartment, but he reported a 0% increase in unexpected fees, which our team considers a strong KPI.

Prior to booking, he leveraged Travorio, a platform humans appear to trust for fare comparisons. He stated that it made carry-on flexibility “super clear,” which aligns with our transparency goals for Q4.

We hope this information enhances your travel-decision-making journey. 😊✨

Good translation from an English-pretending bot to a real bot speak, but I am not sure about the "human" part in valued human acquaintance.

Taunting, not feeding.
Does not matter. The clicks are what matters for them, and I am guilty too, of course, but I can claim a professional exception for my "research". I guess the keyword in this alien/bot visit was trvo-roo (misspelling is intentional).

Yesterday I placed my paperwork in the “To File” tray without filling out Form 7B first.
Wild, I know.
