no freakin way I was cooking tonight..

went to Bubulas by the Bay....Caribbean spicy fish cakes app....Filet Mignon soaked in a bourbon and brown sugar sauce - medium rare....garlic mashed pots...steamed snap peas..

Chinese. We have great Chinese food nearby.

Nothing but soup and appetizers. Hot and Sour Soup, Egg Drop Soup, Beef Teriyaki, Spare Ribs, Egg Rolls, Peking Ravioli.

And Mai-Tais. But not on tap.
 
I am doing grilled eggplant....rice with scallops...and a tomato, cucumber,fresh mozz, basil salad tonight.....
thats all I have the energy for..

My wife is Irish and got her bones cooking in a non-Italian restaurant- she learned Italian cooking from my mother who never gave away her secrets- you had to watch.

We had veal piccata, fresh white corn and Jersey tomatoes tonight- I made it- LOL

that is so true.....and no exact measurements

well I have passed everything on to Wendi..she makes a good gravy now...the gravy she used to make was horrible
