what are you eating??

On the beach in Sea Isle right now- no sun but warm. The water is too cold for me but the grandkids are like seals. Lots of seafood tonight.

I have calamari in the frezzer- will have to do unless I find fresh down the shore. Dennis' calamari caesar salad is a good idea for tomorrow.

After you rinse it, you have to dry all the water off completly.

Then coat lightly with canola oil then mix in spices.

I am going to grill the bodies whole with some oil and lemon juice. I am going to use your recipe for a snack.

taking a much needed break from fish and seafood in general tonight....veal marsala with mushrooms...sugar snap peas..corn on the cob

Has anyone else noticed (or is it just here in VA), that the corn this year has been outstanding?!! Sweet, juicy----the best in years.

our corn up here is just coming out ( a little late )...the Florida and Georgia corn was pretty good... the Florida corn got a little mealy towards the end

Yes- local corn has been as good as the Jersey corn which is the benchmark around here- only the white corn tho

Last night had grilled alaskan king salmon with
roasted heirloom beets and horseradish vinaigrette (plus a side of Old Bay fries) at the Mermaid Inn, my favorite casual NYC seafood restaurant. Not fancy at all and kind of loud, but good food and very reasonable.

I always have Chiogga and Bull's Blood- didn't know they were heirloom. So the answer to my question is they don't taste differently from what I have.
