The island needs fresh water and sanitation to ensure the health and well-being of its people. Electricity (including generator fuel) and access to relief supplies also necessary.
Glad to see on another post the hospital seems to be up and running.
This is the truly critical stuff, far more important than the state of hotels and villas.

I'll post and you can explain. :up:Keep in mind that the island lived without desalinization for many years, and most places continue to have cisterns . . . though there'll be a question as to whether water in them has been polluted by storm-carried salt water entering through rain gutters. Most places also have septic systems . . . few are actually connected to the wastewater treatment plant.
