Was There A Lounge Called?

VW

SBH Insider
My son was wearing a T Shirt from St. Barts with the lettering on it that said:
Doghouse Lounge
St. Barts F.W.I.
Was there such a place? I had to have purchased it around 2003.
Thanks,
Val

or perhaps the little blues bar located where the real estate offices are now. it was my favorite bar here, now my favorite is baz bar.

Baz rules! The place where ICI & LA are now was cool. But only lasted a year, if I'm correct. Too bad.

That place where Ici & La is was called Key West.. don't remember anyplace called Doghouse Lounge...

but I have seen Hard Rock St Barth t-shirts and that doesn't exist either...

Thats funny. 30 years ago we came over on El Tigre on a day trip from sxm and the captain's name was Sven, and I asked him if he was on the St Barts ski team.

He was my coach. I always got stuck in the sand. He just bellowed - "Push. Push Voosh. There's a Carib in it for you." I had to buy. Sigh. :p

Nope. My feet were never that tough. I wear tough shoes to protect the footsies.

oh my God that is the same boat that brought me over on my first official vacation visit with someone...30 years ago.....the orange hulled catamaran..right?

aah la licorne at lorient, now known as le wok, this was the place for my second date with the "real" didier. good music, good crowd.

That's El Tigre. There were a bunch of them at one point, with 3-4 tied up to the quay on some days.

yeah we had a very interesting ride over..rough as hell...they covered our baggage with a blue tarp so it wouldn't get wet because everything on the boat was exposed....we drank icy cold Heinekens all the way over and watched half the boat get sick....Manapany picked us up off the Quay and we were off and running

loved the hours of la licorne..only Saturdays from 10 on...cutest local beach girls ever!

A friend of ours got the guy at La Licorne to stamp his acual US passport one night.. says he got the occasional odd question at immigration like where is La Licorne, and he's say it's an island off St Barth. when they closed he wanted the stamp as a collector's item...
