Villa West Indies Flamands

New Member
Hi,

Has anyone stayed here this year, it's a new villa ?
We read a topic about the villa, but has anyone stayed or have opinion on this villa ?

Thanks

Kenny,

Welcome to the forum! I have no experience with rental villas, but you're in the right place to find someone who does.

Grab it!

It is excellently priced for a one bedroom seafront villa of which there aren't that many, and is usually snapped up months in advance.

Other than ten days in April, it is booked solid between now until the end of May.

This is one of my prime examples of why not to wait for a last minute deal, the best deals go first!

It's a bit like shopping for fruit, the early birds get the prime juicy pickings and if you wait for the last minute deal, you'll get the bruised stuff at the bottom of the barrel.

It's like those "can't be beaten on price" hotel schemes.

If you don't mind the room behind the elevator, next to the ice-machines...go for it.

Looking at the website I would take it on the pictures, location and amenities alone- forget a recommendation.

I try and stay away from those discount sites. I find the hotels' sites are just as cheap and at least you know what you are getting most of the time.

I have not stayed in Villa West Indies, but talked last weekend with a couple who spent their honeymoon there in June and loved it. This is second hand, but they were very impressed.

I've stayed at the villa next door, owned by and remodeled by Jacques Greaux. His sister owns Villa West Indies, which was completed last December. It was not yet ready for rental when we were there, but we walked next door and toured the deck, which completely circles the house. The views are wonderful. You can have breakfast with views of Flammands beach, ocean view for lunch, and sunset views of St. Martin and Anguilla later. The pool is sunny and lovely, as well as private. This is on a private road and no traffic. It's the last house on the point.I've seen pictures of the interior and it's decorated and furnished very similarly to the villa next door.Very contemporary, with the best appliances and cabinetry in the kitchen, and fine bathrooms. For me, Flamands is a little too far from our favorite spots, so we think we won't rent there again, but for views, privacy and luxury, you will love West Indies.

My wife and I stayed their last spring. Great place for a couple to stay. Only drawbacks were no tub/jacuzzi and no screens on the sliding doors.
