Villa Anja - Staying in L'Orient

Hi all - my husband and I will be returning to St. Barths for our 15 year anniversary this summer and are considering staying on the beach in L'Orient vs. up in the hills for a change. Specifically, we're looking at Villa Anja which is right on the beach. Any feedback on this villa or location would be much appreciated!

Villa Anja - Lorient Beach

Hi All - Looking for some advice on staying on Lorient Beach. My wife and I have been to St Barts quite a few times with family and friends, but headed down this time just the two of us for our 30th anniversary. Does anyone know anything about Villa Anja(1 bedroom) as well thoughts on Lorient...

We stay very nearby and watched it being built. Incredible view--if you like being sea level--and nice beach access via a well-built staircase. It is to the west of the surf shack, a few villas past Les Mouettes, so while you can walk the beach, it's mostly coral reefs directly in front and the swimming area of Lorient is a short walk to the right. From the little one can see from the beach (and mainly from online photos) there looks to be a small kitchen and bedroom but most of the living space is outdoors? It looks lovely, you can't beat the view and location. I might inquire a bit more about the indoor space.

It’s quite “old St Barths.” I like it.
