Villa Anja - Lorient Beach

Greetings Forum Friends,

We’re considering a stay at Villa Anja, a one-bedroom on Lorient Beach, and would really appreciate any feedback from those who have stayed there.

Specifically, we’d love to hear about:
  • Overall villa comfort and condition
  • Beach access - rocky, sandy?
  • Parking availability and ease
  • Any road noise or other considerations
  • Any insights or tips would be greatly appreciated as we make our decision. All the best, MDC

I will add to my previous post on the thread Kevin directed you to— beach access from Anja is via a nice staircase though this part of Lorient (just to the east of Anja) has much less sand than it used to. It comes and goes but last year and now the coral reef is very exposed with no sand in front of our villa. You can descent from Anja easily and walk west to sit on the beach or walk but that part of the beach is tidal pools and coral reef. To get to the surf shack and swimming portion (in opposite direction) you do have to navigate some rocks, reef and exposed concrete due to sand changes. Depending upon when you come it might vary as the sands can change with swells but that is how it is at present.

Thank you Kevin and Amery.
