Turbe Car Rental

Before we rented villas that had a car as part of the package, we always used budget.

JoR, we just got back last month from a week with a Turbe car and we were very happy. The Mini Cooper was not brand new, but worked fine. We are fairly sure we returned with one more parking lot door dent than we got it with, but they did a thorough outbound and inbound inspection (with photos) and found nothing so we didn't argue the point with them. (Maybe TR561 got our car after we were done.) Anyway, they were VERY accommodating last year when our trip was cancelled due to covid and did not charge us for the cancelled week so I feel I owe them my business for the next few trips at least.

We saw several Mokes in downpours where the families did not look that amused. Mini-cooper with the top down seems the way to go.

I want to throw in a vote for TopLoc . . . my long time go-to agency. Arnaud & team are outstanding!

We've rented the Zoe EV for the past several visits through TopLoc and had great experiences so far. Charging isn't the easiest on the island, especially since there are no Level 2 chargers that I am aware of, meaning you really want to charge at least every other day overnight.

But, it costs nothing in terms of gas and does VERY well on steep hills. That little car has quite a bit of pep in it.
