The NYTimes posted an update yesterday on a restaurant that Pascal Ramette, the owner of PaCri in St. Barts, plans to open in NYC. According to the article it will open next spring.

We haven't been to PaCri before -- think this new place is worth a shot?

I thought Cristine was no longer with Pascal- I wonder if the prices will be as high as St. Barts. So many Italian restaurants in NYC to choose from- Mario Batali's BABO excellent one.

certainly not going to get away with throwing some marinara sauce over some linguine and getting 30 bucks for it in NYC...

I haven't been at Batali's Italian places in NYC, but I did try his tapas place called Casa Mono after Kara wrote an amazing review of dining there. The tapas and wine were great and it's a small, intimate setting. Getting a weekend table takes a month, but mid-week dining shouldn't be a problem.
