The coffee shop

I see we're not the only addicts to the St-Barth's Blend! We brought home 6 kilos last trip and got quite a few comments of the smell on the plane from the passengers seated near us! They thought they were serving it. I had to explain it was in my carry on. Does anyone know if he ships to the states?

....rationing until April

I brought back 3 pounds which got me through the summer.....awaiting reinforcements soon...the smell and taste of that coffee is incredible...I dont know what they do and how they do it...but it rocks...I'd be curious to see of they ship as well

Please do, Kevin. I love that coffee. I ran out about a month ago. Prior to that, I rationed it for weekend use only.

I love the shop and the owner (name ?), but I've heard he has had it for sale for years. A great place to go for a coffee and a Times Fax in the AM.

Which Times? LA, NY, Washington, London? Some of us need to know whose side you're on.

(OK, I'm just making trouble)

Curses, I was hoping to clear enough for a new bike I've been coveting. Perhaps there are other St. Barth coffee addicts whose habit Kevin is not already supplying???

well he's one helluva roaster...I often get Costa Rican beans here in the states, but they arent nearly as smooth and tastey as his Costa Rican roast is

Heading from the airport to Andy's whne you get to th eplaza instead of following the main road to the left go straight the road heads up about 300 metres ahead on your right is a little coffee shop on the corner of a pink building.

Through all the years, I have also missed this place.
What time are they up and brewing in the morning?

AKA La Route de Saline

Thanks for checking Kevin. I look forward to what you find out.
The guy's name is Laurent. I had a long conversation with him last trip. We have a friend who owns a coffee shop and we tried to get the mix from him. He said the St-Barths Blend is made of a combination of Arabica and Ethiopian beans, but wouldn't share his proportions. He's a really nice guy. We also only drink it on the weekends to try and make it to the next trip also.
