how can you NOT love anyone who signs his autobiographical sketch "yours in inebriation?"
dianeh and all wineaux (that would be winos who use appropriate stemware perhaps?) of any interest, i have to say this is the way to go. email pascal, tell him what you like here, french, whatever. in short order depending on what is available on the island before your trip, he'll send you a proposal, names, vineyards, year, price. you can pick and choose a case or 12, makes no difference to pascal. each of our 6 or 7 wines was at least 20% below shop prices, and the Event Wines were double that in price betterment. if that wasn't enough to entice us to use them again, his expertise is enormous and his manner quite friendly. absolute luxury to not lug home wine from each trip out; this time the effort went into deciding which bottle to open.
warning: if you are at all prone to champagne for breakfast in st. bart, as we are, having a case or two at your disposal will do nothing towards dissuading you from this habit.
