Small airplane crashed a bit on landing just now

A small plane landed hard on its right landing gear which appeared to collapse. The plane then veered off the runway into the grass. It seems as if everyone is OK

Planes all lined up parked waiting to leave. A series of official vehicles surrounding plane..looks like they have a trailer they will try to put it on. I have great view from our villa with my binoculars.

Making progress, they are lifting it with a crane to put on trailer. Going to be a lot of plane activity afterwards.

Those are very, very fortunate occupants of that plane if all are safe as reported.

I've been on the SXM side of that line. We sat in an air-side trailer with pilots and ground crew, watching old game shows on TV, waiting for a plane with a blown tire to be removed from the SBH runway. A taxi and ferry tickets were being lined up just in case, but the SBH runway cleared and we were on our way.

And then he got too low too fast! Starboard strut collapsed.

We were right there after being tested at pharmacy..heard it before we saw it..scary to watch but saw people walking away from plane right away

Holy cow - very frightening. They were coming in way too high. Must be a fairly windy day there?! So glad the occupants were not injured.
