He met with Manu a few weeks ago, and Marisol sent me a photo of the two of them. He lives in the South of France, not too far from Manu and Marisol.

I guess there is no chance he will come back to open something magical in St Barth.

I really liked Do Brazil. We’ve gone to Shellona for lunch two or three times. There was one appetizer I really liked each time, but remember thinking otherwise it was very very expensive and not that special. But my three kids (now 18, 16, 12) all somehow remember it as one of their favorites. They were really sad when we couldn’t get in there last summer. 
I have no idea why but glad they have good memories.

We were at Shellona in November and it’s usually on our lunch rotation. We order off the menu, the chicken sandwich is great, and the grilled octopus appetizer we like a lot. Every time we go to a restaurant and they bring out the chalkboard, I tell them politely, not to bother. Not only do I not want to do the math, g’s versus ounces, vs euros. We did it once, years ago, and went ballistic when we saw the bill. So basically, we still like it, we’ve gotten to know a few of the very nice servers, we just stick with what we know, especially the price we know. If we want the whole fish to share, we know the price La Cabane, and it’s excellent. Happy New Year to all, we are back In February, and we will go to Shellona.
