SBH Pizza

Invariably we enjoy a night in the villa by the pool with pizza and "store-bought" wine. Pizza is very personal to taste but am curious if there is a general consensus on what most believe to be the best. L'Isoletta, Papa's, JPizza, La Quintessence, and I'm sure more. We have usually gone to La Quintessence and found it to be terrific - just curious if we are missing out!

A big thumbs up for store-bought wine. I have one last bottle from La Cave du Port Franc that I need to open tonight.

Many speak highly of Luigi, the Pizzaiola at Les Bananiers, and I often have pizza there. Maybe tonight.

I have had decent pizza from Papa’s before, but I was not happy with the pizza that I ordered from Papa’s via Delifood a few days ago. I don’t know if Papa’s has gone downhill, or if Delifood brought me a rogue pizza.

We sat next to a newlywed couple from Dallas last year. They ordered appetizers and a pie. The pie almost did not fit on the table. They mentioned that it was a bit much food even though they were from Texas.

If you take out, first peek inside the box before leaving. Ours was badly burnt. Very disheartening.

Will do! Is L'Isoletta thicker crust pizza? Maybe not if it's the size of the table.

The crust was not thick...but not as thin as Bananiers.

Bananiers pizza has very thin crisp crust. Pizza is also round. A sample is below.

Unfortunately I can’t locate a picture of a pizza from L’Isoletta. Pizza is rectangular and you order the size by length. Crust is much thicker than Bananiers.

Both are very good. Which we pick depends on the mood.
