Sandy Redux

East Coast friends stay safe and dry. Morning storm coverage seen on news here reminds me of storm Sandy.

I am reminded of the Osgood Conklin advice on OUR MISS BROOKS when he overhears a ham radio typhoon alert and announces over his school’s PA system to “TIE DOWN YOUR OXCARTS, tether your elephants.”Oh what a good laugh then and a big smile this morning.

Stone Harbor streets are flooded. Business owners are asking folks not to drive through town because the wakes from the cars are flooding their shops…water came up over our dock, almost as high as Sandy…house is dry.
