Rosewood Le Guanahani change

According to the highly reliable travel blog, One Mile at A Time, the Rosewood Le Guanahani, will transition to the luxury French hotel brand Airelles when it reopens on November 1, 2026. This is a loss for Rosewood's portfolio, but could be good for the hotel. Airelles other properties are exceptional and the brand tends to heavily invest in their properties to be at the very top end of the market.

Curious what that means for the management team at the property and what changes might be seen for the future.

We were in one of their pearls, Le Grand Controle in Versalles, although in passing, for a wonderful dinner in Alain Ducasse's restaurant. We looked at the hotel as it is very small and found it to be very authentic, with very careful attention to royal details. It is bordering the Chateau after all. It will be interesting to see how they will make Le Gunahani theirs. Also maybe Alain will take charge of the food there.

What's interesting is that Rosewood leaves the property October 1, and Airelles will officially put their shingle on November 1. So they will probably spend the whole of October for rebranding
