Road Construction Update to Beaches?

Can anyone post a current road construction update based on what main beaches may or may not be accessible via the main arteries? Last time we were on island (2 years ago) we got caught trying to get to Gouveneurs and had to abort that beach because the drive was not possible. In fact, traffic all over was so heavy and aggressive that April that we it really had a negative impact on our trip. We are hoping this March might be a little bit better, but alas probably not. Fingers crossed.

You should be ok in March . . . road construction usually doesn’t start ‘til “the season” ends (unofficially, April 15).

Roads should be ok, traffic not so much..

Thanks all. I've come to expect the traffic but the road construction info is giving me at least a little hope on that front.

Traffic has been fluide everywhere I’ve gone this week. A two minute holdup in Gustavia isn’t traffic. It’s a chance to eyeball pedestrians!
