Returning to SB

Wonderful! I want to see them succeed! A lovely young couple!
I wanted to meet them, but with a group, I didn't want to get up and go searching.....and no one stopped by. (all good). But service and food, in every way, was total perfection. Over the weekend, I will make sure to do a review. I want them to succeed too - it's the exact kind of place I want to see succeed. It's "my" kind of St Barth!

The “wife” in the couple generally is there only during the day. She & her chef/husband have a young child . . . a year, as I recall. So, “Mom” is with baby in the evenings. Good for them!

We are on the island now and can share that La Casina was really good - creative menu with great flavors and reasonable prices and good service. Les Bananiers was purchased by the owners of the bakery next door but the food and pizza is still just as good and prices remain the same. La Grain de Sel was purchased by the former manager of the Arawak Cafe and is painted and mildly renovated and looks very nice. The menu is quite different and the prices have gone up considerably but not to an unreasonable level and all the food was excellent and the service was very attentive. I'll write a longer review after the trip concludes.
