Hello all,

Trying to narrow down the options for our lunches during our stay. We already have reservations for Shellona and Nikki Beach. Anyone have a strong preference between Gyp Sea, Lil Rock, Sand Bar or Pearl Beach?

Also, what would be a special spot for a birthday dinner?

I havent been to Gyp Sea, Lil Rock or the newest Pearl Beach, but I choose Sand Bar. For the special dinner I would go see Randy and Maya in Public.

I am looking forward to Fouquet’s Amy is spot on. However Little Rock is simply amazing! Any lunch experience in St. Barths is transforming. Enjoy and see you on the beach

While I love Lil' Rock, the experience is a world away from the Sand Bar experience. My suggestions would be Sand Bar for lunch, and Tamarin for Birthday Dinner.

Lil Rock was a bit disappointing this last visit. View is great, but with no lobster available that day, our menu choices were somewhat limited. I second Sand Bar if nothing but for the service. I might also suggest moving "inland" a bit instead a doing all the beach restaurants. Santa Fé is great for lunch after spending the morning at Gouverneur. Le Repaire is a nice (and reasonable) lunch (and dinner) when in Gustavia. If spending the morning at Saline, Grain de Sel is nearby and can (and cannot) be excellent.
