Anyone been to Al Mare recently? How was your experience?

Yes…have enjoyed two wonderful lunches with great views, food and service.

We went in December. The service was very nice and friendly. Most of the staff is Italian (as is the menu), so it’s like a quick trip to Italy. The spaghetti with clams was as good as my favorite in Forte dei Marmi, with this particularly rich mouth feel and lovely manilla clams. The breadsticks were also outstanding, slender and crisp. Everything was quite good, including the aperitivo. Definitely recommend!
