RATS!

There are rats, but as far as I know there are rats pretty much wherever there is human habitation.
I'm sorry but in my decidedly modest middle income American home there are NO RATS AROUND!
Outside there are mice yes, bugs yes, bats yes, mosquitoes yes (no dengue either).

There ARE rats abounding in locations around the world where the trash is poorly disposed of and HUMANS do nothing to make improvements to the environment to reduce the rat population. Rats are dirty filthy creatures that spread disease and vermin.
CIVILIZED human populations take measures to keep sanitation standards high to promote the good health of their citizens (and tourists)

I am exercising self control instead of continuing to exercise my freedom of speech at this time .......

Wish...I'm with you here on this but mice actually are just as guilty as spreading disease as rats...so in that category they have equal footing

WIWT,

Great quote. I'm obviously with you on this issue. Think of me as Bill Murray in Caddyshack when it comes to rodents.

yeah, but they are NOT IN my house crawling around on my counters pooping, nor in my covered trash outside....and besides, they're cuter, ha ha.

Re: Rat A Tuer

put a furry bushy tail on em, and voila

no more rats...now you got squirrels..

problem solved

In Highland Park (think Jerry Jones and the like for neighbors) they're so big they get called raccoons (no kidding) because it just wouldn't be right for all those billionaires and millionaires to live in a neighborhood with rats. Funny, but there's no striped tails or bandit masks on 'em. You can see them at night running along the fences and telephone lines.

I have found two dead rabbits on our yard over the time, and the other one didn't have a head.

Do I have a bunny problem? Are they after my carrots?

Re: Rat A Tuer

<<Just think what a great activity this would be for the island's teenagers,>>

How do I get a bunch of Remington Nylon 66's thru customs?

This past summer I sat in my villa with all the doors wide open. One day a saw something out of the corner of my eye and discovered a huge dog (a golden retriever) sitting on the living room floor. He became a frequent visitor. Maybe he was really a rat in a dog suit...LOL!

I am now going to reconcider leaving all the doors open.
