Question on Villa

Anyone have experience with Villa Alouette in Vitet?

Will let you know in a few weeks. We have reserved the one bedroom villa. This will be our first trip to St Barts. The owner has been great in helping us with details and even offered to buy provisions for our arrival, helped with a rental car deal.
Now we are pretty adventurous and are willing to take a chance on the villa. We looked at lots of places and read a lot of info on this site. I would rather spend my money on food, drinks, activities and watches rather than a bed. Just me. We contacted several but had the best response from Ludo.

Their site lists 4 day minimum, even in high season. We should remember that, the next time the short stay subject comes up.

Have never stayed at this particular villa but you can be sure that there are no surprises. I have found that most villas on st. barths look even nicer in person than the pictures. The views from Vitet are incredible. I think you have rented a very nice, very clean villa with a nice pool and amazing view. Plus full AC. Quite a bargain I think. You will have a wonderful time.

A/C in the living room and kitchen are unusual. In 25+ years I've only rented one villa that was fully airconditioned.

Never having rented a villa on St. Barth, I have little knowledge of them except for those at which I've visited the renters. I did go to their website, and this villa looks very pleasant. I tried to access the map to find its exact location, but I couldn't seem to obtain it.

I thought since you were a Vitet regular, you might have a bead on just where it was.

I tried to imagine where that villa was located and came to the conclusion that it must be somewhere high up on the western slope of Mt. Vitet to have a view of St. Martin and Anguilla.

At the villa now. I am happy and I am hard to please. Not a new place but very clean and in great shape.
Lots of attention to detail on the things you might need or do need. Kitchen well stocked, outside grill, rooms are great size and great pool with lots of privacy. Yes the living room does have air. Sun on the deck most of the day. The location is fine for me. Great view of St Martin while I type this on the patio. The owners son-in-law Ludo met us at the airport, stocked the pantry with supplies per our list. Could not have asked for a better reception at the airport and info on the area.
This a great deal and I will be back. They say the first impression is your last. Ludo and the villa did a great first impression.

Sorry for a tardy and short reply. Work and a terrible cold are taking the toll.
I was as happy the last day as I was the first. This is a great deal and a great villa. Very private.
We wil be returning and staying at this villa. I will post a more detailed report later.
