PLM Jean Bart Hotel from 1980s

Rosemond thinks it was also called La Fregate at one time as well... ? Just after Le Piment there is a right turn - you went up there to get to the club if I recall correctly.

So wait - I'm confused. I've been trying to remember the name of the very French / European, not fancy hotel east of El Sereno in the 1980s. It was at the end of the tiny peninsula between Grand Cul de Sac and the lagoon, where Le Barthelemy is now. We used to just pull up there, grab a chaise lounge, and put our feet in the sand under the palm trees for a couple of hours without ever being disturbed. We'd eat at the restaurant.

Some have said it was the St. Barths Beach Hotel, which sounds right, but was IT the PLM - St. Barths Beach Hotel? I seem to recall that in a neuron or two....

It was Guy Turbe's Saint Barth Beach Hotel, I'm pretty sure. PLM was the Jean Bart.

I don't think the St Barth Beach Hotel was ever a PLM - the PLM Jean Bart was in St Jean...
the original version of Le Rivage was at the St Barth Beach Hotel and has been missed ever since the hotel closed !

Well, if a link is included then that’s a good indicator. There are others. There are also ways to get past us, but I’ll not mention those.

That one was a "dead" giveaway - Jean Bart was a historical French pirate so unless they had him as a hologram, very little chance he was chatting with the guests!
