Sandra and Peter.....What a darling baby boy. May you know the joy with your son Noah that I have known raising my three sons.

Congrats again

I just wanted to say a quick thank you to all the congratulations on and off sbhonline from the sbhonline family! A very big thank you to JEK and Susie, Amy and Phil for their generous and thoughtful gifts. Silver spoons and Petit Bateau! While JEK has been able to post some of the initial photos I will have some more to come as Noah takes shape. Noah is an incredible new addition to an ever growing family both here and in the US. My first son, Zac is eagerly waiting to meet his little bro as are Zac's and Noah's US aunts, uncles, grandparents and cousins. And they all have already welcomed Noah into their extended arms. Needless to say the entire family here on the island have been beyond excited! I must say it is a very different experience to have a child on St Barths, since they don't deliver on St Barths. There are a few choices that include traveling to Guadaloupe, Saint Martin, France or in our case United States also. Sandra decided on Saint Martin for a few reasons and close proximity to St Barth was a major determining factor. While I stayed to continue to work the kitchen at Gloriette, Sandra left for SXM the end of June since it is recommended to be there at least three weeks prior to the due date just in case. I would go back and forth from SBH to SXM the first few weeks to be with Sandra and hopefully be there when Noah decided he was ready. But the Friday I came back to SBH I guess Noah was ready and decided to push that evening into Saturday morning and made it out before I could make it back over to SXM. Everything went well, both mother and child are healthy and happy and Noah is just where he should be! I must say it made me quite anxious not knowing or worrying while I was here working and just anticipating a call to tell me to get there quick! But as it worked out Sandra's sister was by her side and I couldn't have asked for a better situation. I was secretly trying to "win" the bedside position but I think for all involved god made a great decision. So for now we are all enjoying and loving the new addition. There is no lack of attention here. I don't want to rush anything but if we can make it through August quickly it would be fine by me. September the three of us will head stateside and make our rounds and relax as best we can for a little while...maybe I will teach Zac how to change a diaper!

Are you referring to my "handle"? If so, it has been the same for years I believe. It was bin228 maybe 6 years ago. Maybe because I have been called many names and since I have not posted very often in the past few years seeing it now it looks different?

PBJ I thought it was. Whatever it is good to see a post.

As my wife and I have only waived to you while you have been busy creating your wonderful lunches for so many of us, it's time to recognize your greatest creation. Well done! And lastly, has anyone mentioned how wonderful Sandra looks after doing her part of the collaboration. Best wishes, from both Denise and I.

There is no happier news in the world than the birth of a healthy child! Congratulations, Peter and Sandra. Your son is beautiful.
