Petite Anse to Petite Anse: 35:05
Ran as much as I could, which wasn't much. In the dark, with the headlamp on... after drinking a good amount of rosé. Not a good idea. Loppet will be tough.

We have a new record! Great job, George!

Good job George! Looks like we need to buck-up for the donation now. I'll leave it to Tim to 'rule' on the official route, but given you came in 15 minutes under the challenge, I think it's fair to say you have the record. Maybe we will try it again on our next trip sans rose.

It appears to me from looking at the map that George ran the correct route even though his start/finish point was not the same as mine. He certainly set the bar high for the rest of us. I'm going to have to get my pacemaker set on high speed to come even close.:)

I ran it again (sober), but was slower by 10 or so seconds :) This was on tired legs, day after Gustavialoppet...
If anyone can do this in 35 or less, I'll do my part and donate €100 to SB Essentiel. Just be careful running on the trail section...

My husband was trying to beat the time. The first time my husband ran it, his time was 35:25, but he took a wrong turn on the steep cutoff road. The second time he tried, his iPhone was stolen, so as he says, we will never know (his time).
We would have been more than willing to take up the donation challenge, but it didn't work out that way.
