Non fiction that reads like an espionage thriller came into my hands. This well annotated journalist's book has me in its grip. Names from organized crime pre dating Meyer Lansky for openers. I understand Vol 2, if I don't go blind by then, ends with Jeffrey Epstein. Quite a broad view of crime and corruption in 50 states, Washington DC, and also worldwide. Israeli arms deals. The Iran Arms. Some CIA secret ops. Watergate. Billygate. Teamsters Union and pension funds. Fraud. Bank collapses.. Casinos on Vegas and Atlantic City and Cuba.Noriega and Latin and South American dictators and drug cartels.So much revealed and so many names named I worry for her safety.
The 2 books are hefty. But it is hard to put the story down. I lived through so much of this and have had many an OMG moment. Impressive journalism. Give it a go.
