Boy, that picture makes my hear sing. We have been coming since 2012 and usually do lunch twice at Nikki, along with a couple of other cocktail stroll-ins from the beach. Our food has always been great and the service even better. It's funny, our traveling companions prefer LaPlage for the St. Jean scene, but that is another great thing about the island. Inevitably we always find a parking spot on the street, then proceed through the beach entrance next Nikki and set up shop. two other great options for this end of the beach are Kiki-e-Mo right across the street for take out to the beach or eat in, or over to LePiment, an apparent unsung gem on this site. Smokey, yes, but a great vibe. I hear a lot on here about the local players selling out to multinational establishments, which Nikki certainly is, but for us it is spot on and an integral part of our vacation.

We are going to Nikki with newbies on the day after Thanksgiving. Love the menu, if not the vibe. Great Cobb Salad

I know this sounds crazy with Nikki Beach being Nikki Beach, but damn if they don't have some of the best mashed potatoes I have ever had! :wink2:

Fouquet’s is my mashed potato winner. Actually the recipe is simple. Take a generous scoop of French butter, add a pinch of boiled potato. Stir well. Voila!

I feel you pain commenting positively on a chain resto BUT Nikki Beach has some of the best looking, freshest, nice sized portion food on the island at prices that are not crazy (I am only talking about food prices and not alcohol which can easily get out of hand). Staff is efficient and most have been there numerous seasons which says a lot. I wish Jerome and his team a successful safe season.

I think their food is consistently good... I just meant I wonder how many of the beautiful people scarf down a big plate of mashed potatoes on their Nikki Beach outing. Ha!

am I going to run into you at another bar???

I love the food and especially their sushi. Everything is fresh and the presentations are tops. The noise level, not so much.

I try for early on weekdays and enjoy the view and the food and head home before my ears need noise relief..

I’ll weigh-in on the side of Nikki’s food — fresh & beautiful presentation. Moreover, during the week, when I go (i.e., rarely on Sundays), the service is flawless.

I am on a day to day plan Eve. I don't "hang out at bars" too frequently anymore but I am not a complete home body! Home bar is nicely stocked I will say:). I hope our paths cross while you are on-island.

I wholeheartedly agree with Amy and Dennis. Nikki has become our favorite go-to (weekday) lunch spot. It’s relatively quiet, and you can enjoy a leisurely meal and a bottle of wine without feeling rushed. We’ve never been on a Sunday, but Saturday does get a little loud so that’s good enough for me!
